Hey everyone, just wanted to share my experience installing the Supershieldz 2-pack for the Nothing Phone 3.
Glass quality:
Smooth, premium feel
Crystal-clear, no impact on touch
Edges sit flush and works perfectly with my case (Ultra Hybrid)
Two protectors in the pack is great — even careful installs can go wrong, so having a backup is nice
Update on adhesive:
Since writing the original review, the protector did briefly lift at one corner and required a little pressure to reseat. While the glass quality still remains amazing, the adhesive worries me a bit.
Installation — ignore the printed instructions:
The printed instructions suggest a “quick press” method, which almost always leads to bubbles, dust, and misalignment. The hinge method is the single definitive way to install any screen protector from any brand that doesn’t come with an applicator frame. This isn’t just for Supershieldz — it’s universal.
How to do it (foolproof):
Clean your screen thoroughly
Leave your phone screen turned on while lining up the protector — this makes alignment much easier
Tape one side of the protector with the guide stickers (or painter’s tape if stickers aren’t included) to create a “book hinge”
Flip it open, peel the backing, and swing it down along the hinge
Turn the screen off, then use a wrapped business/credit card to gently push out any remaining bubbles
Result: perfectly aligned, zero dust, zero bubbles on the very first try.
Additional tip for reseating:
If you ever need to lift and reseat a corner of the protector, use a plastic guitar pick or similar thin plastic tool. Slide it gently under the edge to lift and realign. Avoid metal, sharp objects, or fingernails — these can scratch, chip, or damage the glass.
Supershieldz Still Solid, But Mr. Shield Is Worth Considering:
I still like Supershieldz as a option for the Nothing Phone 3 — the glass quality is excellent, and using the hinge method ensures a perfect install. That said, if you’re concerned about adhesive issues or want extra peace of mind, Mr. Shield is a strong alternative: they have great reviews, (for all other phones) Japanese-sourced glass, longer experience in the market, and a superior lifetime warranty that even covers accidental damage.
