You don’t have to Count apps, just go to storage and see all analytical data, System, Apps, Music, Videos, Pictures etc
Surely It feels different , and I’m glad (I also like the back cold flat glass of 3A (sans Camera Isle Bump)(I own one too)), but latest sammy OS updates kept minimal apps and changed the preinstalled ones, anyways you can uninstall/disable unwanted/unnecessary apps anytime with add-on programs via pc without any prior tech knowledge (you just enable developer menu and adb at your device), you just plug the device and you can freely select and uninstall/disable everything on the fly that cannot be uninstalled, this applies to all android devices ( had a bad experience with NP when disabled one google bundled app for vendors who lease devices and comes preinstalled by default, that led me to boot loop, so be careful and uninstall general apps)..

I know, and I respect your opinion, yes usage varies from user to user, what’s Important for me (video edit, Picture tweak, summarization etc), maybe of no or little Interest to you, I respect that and it is understandable.

The funny thing is that Sammy in the past Introduced such button for It’s Assistant, yet older devices could use another combo to enable It, sammy gave them a way, older devices weren’t excluded.
And later on when a dedicated button just for assistant felt redundant Sammy assigned assistant to be freely mapped to devices prior without, with and after without button to freely remap assistant and use the redundant button for other activity, thus is it SO difficult for Nothing to give option to map Essential space to power button double, triple press or long press menu, or It’s just predetermined obsolescence…
Anyways It is, what It is , and I will not venture forward, I feel my money were not well spent, the “Flagship” device (NP2) didn’t get the support and features It deserved all this time..
