After updating to the latest OTA (September patch), the rear camera quality (both main and periscope) has become absolutely terrible. Faces and objects in most photos now look overly smooth, with almost no detail. The overall image quality is just poor. Meanwhile, GCam still delivers excellent results — which clearly proves the stock camera quality has degraded badly after this update. It’s honestly a huge step backward.
The front camera is also affected. It often produces completely inaccurate colors, with a strong bluish tint that makes skin tones and lighting look unnatural. It feels like the camera processing has been rushed just to reduce processing time, but the result is a horrible, over-processed mess. Plus HDR is giving black tones/shadow on the skins. Sometimes it is too black that skin seems burn out.
I can’t believe no one has talked about this yet. The difference between the previous build and this one is shocking. Some shots look so fake and over-processed that they seem edited. The entire camera experience has been ruined.
Please, we don’t need faster processing if it means destroying photo quality. This downgrade is unbelievable and extremely frustrating. A fix or patch is urgently needed to restore the previous camera performance.
