Was thinking about this from a while and I saw that this was already discussed in the community over a year ago, but it still hasn’t landed as a feature, so I wanted to bring it up again because it’s genuinely useful.
On Phone (1), we have the Glyph Charging Meter, which briefly shows battery progress through the LEDs. But on other models like the Phone (2a 2a Plus), it’s missing, even though the hardware supports it.
Here’s why I think this deserves a push:
Lets us see charging progress at a glance when the phone is face down (no need to wake the screen).
Could map battery % directly: 25% → quarter lit, 50% → half lit, 100% → full ring glowing.
A soft pulse when charging is complete would make it even more functional.
Right now, the Glyphs are beautiful, but they should also be practical. This feels like one of those small, impactful features that would really improve the experience if rolled out beyond Phone (1).
Has anyone else been waiting for this too?
