Hey Community, I’m trying to figure out how to resolve sth annoying that is happening when using Google Chrome on the Nothing Phones.
Issue: I am scrolling through my feed on a site on the browser (eg. Facebook) and sometimes I will come across a video. All videos can play automatically on mute by default, but sometimes,I want to listen in what is said so I tap the unmute button the player has.
The moment I do so, the beak sound (my default notification sound on the phone) starts ringing again and again. I am not receiving any notification, just watching the video unmuted. This goes on ringing until I mute the video again,or exit the Chrome app.
Why is this perceived as a notification? How can I stop it from happening as it’s annoying and makes me unable to hear the videos (it’s louder than the video when it starts)?
Please help me.
This is happening in NP3a Pro, but I had the same issue when I had my NP1 as well, so I think it might be an Android setting somewhere causing this. Is it a known issue? Am I the only affected? It’s making me crazy haha.
Chrome is always on the latest update available in the Play Store, has been happening for way too long (years). I can provide current version I’m on if it helps though, just lmk.
