I’ve been a fan of nothing and had pre-ordered phone (1). I’ve recommended Nothing’s products so much that I should get sales incentives lol.
Ngl when I first saw the phone (3) I was kinda disappointed and then they announced the sale where phone (1) and (2) users would get loyalty discounts but that turned out to be limited to other regions and in India anybody could get their hands on the offer. Anyway that left a bad taste in my mouth and yet I went ahead and purchased the phone (3) just out of love for the brand.
So idk maybe I have some feature requests, like I’ve been using nothing’s products for over 3 years now but this is the first time posting something. So anyone who’d be kind enough to reroute this to the right people. It would be greatly appreciated.
- Always on Glyph toys - convert an image for example the samurai logo from Cyberpunk and have that on the glyph matrix.
- More variations of the nothing sounds
- Glyph icon generator, cos the custom one’s been doing a bad job
- Camera updates are definitely needed to tune it further.
- Setting rules for other kind of stuff as well. Like some sort of automation.
- Better explanation of the essential space or maybe a proper use case walkthrough otherwise that extra button feels wasted, could be great if there’s an option to switch it to a camera capture button or a snooze button.
- This is for ear 2, but why can’t google assistant or gemini be integrated into headphones? Like the hey google command, I commute on my bike and rely on my ear 2 for navigation and using Google assistant is a hassle without voice to activate available on ear 2
- Double down on dot matrix fonts, cos at some places it feels limited and inconsistent, would be better if it was across the entire OS. I personally love the dot matrix fonts.
Finally this is more of a product request like where’s Nothing Watch (1) when are we getting a dot matrix themed watch? I saw some post on the community today and it seemed super decent with a square block design and a rotating button, shaped like a gear. If it has some sort of physical interactivity like How the galaxy watches have those rotating bezels it would be just incredible.
