Idk, I just wanted to share because I can’t stop my thoughts going… although I shared my Nothing experience already and there’s a personal review on my profile to (3a) & other devices I’m having.
So, first I’ve seen Nothing’s Ear (1) in 2021 while being a TeamGalaxy person. It felt a bit strange but interesting to see these so I thought “no-no, I won’t buy them, they’re not official in my country and I’ll go with Samsung anyway”.
Then I saw their phones many times, other products as well (only Nothing). The fun thing is that I literally forgot about this, so when now I’m finding reposts I’ve done earlier about Nothing and kinda surprised they even exist and I “just reposted it”?
And, I have to say, I joined Nothing after a 2024 recap reel that I found this January. I became SO impressed of the whole visuals at all (as a social media designer, of course!). In July I bought my first ever Nothingie, yeah, the cool cute name came to my mind way before I even bought it. And like, that’s just cool! Instead of just calling it “nothing” on my native… tbh my whole visual ecosystem was “built” and inspired by Nothing a bit and turned into my own thing. It’s completely different, maybe, but still can have some feels of it (at least for me).
Especially now after Playground video launching I first felt like “hey, that’s exactly what I was looking and searching two years ago!!!”. This is the aesthetic of glitch, crt TV, psychedelic that I wanted to adopt for myself in 2023 so I even had a glitch font! Just a very bit of what I’ve searched and done that year👇🏼
Well that’s not exactly the same but just trust me I was following so many creative artists with different styles so all these things in a new Essential design were there😅 I can share more stuff for those who’s interested in what I’m a doing as a content creator.
I general I bought Nothing just because of the design and Instagram page. And only after I got it in hands I started watching what functions does it have. That’s the first time ever for me when I’m buying tech this way.
And I just wanted to thank the team that does so well-done advertising, giving a very high mark from me as a regular customer. I literally can’t stop watching these photos and videos, scrolled down through all the feed in socials (that’s why sometimes I forcedly stop myself and go back to work & study). If only I had money I’d definitely spent all of them to Nothing🫠.
I’m not even dreaming of joining us with my piece of vision (because real hard skills aren’t that great compared to this, let’s be objective), but I’d be very happy to join brand as a team in my country or here on Community. Thanks for making these strange working things in reality, this truly amazes!
I thought I’d never be a victim of marketing, but somehow I have to admit that this became true🫣
