Doesn't the new nothing os 4 Feel boring?

Für ein großes Update sieht und fühlt es sich fast genauso aus wie zuvor. Die UL hat sich nicht weiterentwickelt. Es gibt immer noch kein haptisches Feedback für die Helligkeit oder die Lautstärkereisen, das Batterie-Symbol ist unverändert (selbst Google hat ihr jahrelanges Batteriestatus-Symbol aktualisiert), während selbst Pixel-Betriebssystem, das als minimal bekannt ist, diese Berührungen umfasst. Darüber hinaus gibt es überhaupt keine Sperrbildschirmanpassung, wodurch sich das Betriebssystem im Vergleich zu anderen Marken veraltet fühlt. Ich weiß, dass dies immer noch in der Beta ist, aber es scheint, dass die meisten Funktionen bereits abgeschlossen sind - und im Moment fühlt sich Nothing OS 4 überwältigend und ohne Politur an.

Are you worried about getting hacked? This is nonsense that clutters up a UI.

I am a sea marine .. and we have to save up data .. for 6 months straight so that I can call my family and friends sometimes.. data costs a lot on ships if it’s satelite connectivity like starlink !! So every bit of GB is needed and when my friends ask for hotspot sometimes random people connect by sharing qr codes and all and then I have no luck to contact my family for remaining days or I just have to buy data ! Soo I need that thing ! It’s in every OS ! It’s not clutter it’s just not useful for you ! But it is for me to save my time and not always unlocking the phone go into settings and see who connected while working.

Didn’t know years old battery should be necessarily changed. Only a few geeks care about this cosmetics…

They only thing I’d wish them to have is having a dark lock screen clock colour because I can’t use light wallpapers because of that. It still should be connected to a selected colour theme.

Almost everyone was a geek up until 8-10 years ago then, and almost everyone will be a geek again from 2027 onwards then (the EU mandates to have easily user-replacable batteries, they can be sealed but user must have an easy access to replace it if they wish) 😁

themountofmint You didn’t quote anyone there so I wasn’t sure what is that about about, my bad 🥴 I was just reading the other thread here, how sealed irreplaceable batteries are great because phones are “tougher” so thought that was somehow related to that, sorry 😄

Yes changes are very less they didn’t even integrated the new material theme and animation from Android 16 atleast gives us an option to choose well if they can’t do tht atleast give us an option to resize the app icon its the most basic thing every ui has now a days default icons looks soo big and hedious

Anonymous931 but i brought nothing only because of their OS , they said they are different from others on terms of OS now its all the same , 4.0 looks outdated, other UIs also have beta program they added tons of features and compared to that it’s nothing!!
