Hello guys 👋
It’s been 28 days with the Nothing Phone (3), and I think now is the time to share how it has actually behaved in daily life — beyond first impressions or hype. I’ve used it for everything: casual stuff, content creation, heavy camera days, editing, multitasking. Here’s my full, honest take…
🔹 Design & Build
Let’s be real — the design still gets noticed 🌻
- Transparent back, clean flat edges, the usual Nothing aesthetic.
- The flat sides help grip. In hand it feels premium and sturdy.
- The Glyph lights / Glyph Matrix remain a conversation starter. Every time I take it out, people ask me, “Which phone is that?”
- Build feels solid, giving a true flagship vibe.

🔹 Display & Performance
This is one of its strengths.
- 6.67-inch OLED display, 120 Hz refresh rate.
- Bright, sharp visuals, smooth scrolling, great for editing, watching or reading.
- Performance has been reliable. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset handles multitasking, editing, and daily apps well. No serious slowdowns so far.
- UI is smooth, animations are clean, transitions feel fluid.
🔹 Camera Experience & Specifications
This is where tech and real usage meet.
Camera specs:
Rear (Back) Cameras:
• 50 MP main (wide) with OIS (optical image stabilization) & PDAF — helps in clearer, steady shots
• 50 MP ultra-wide (to capture more of the scene)
• 50 MP periscope telephoto — gives 3× optical zoom
Front (Selfie) Camera:
• 50 MP (for sharp selfies)
Video:
• Can record up to 4K @ 60 fps
• Also supports 1080p @ 30/60 fps
In use (my observations):
- In good lighting, the shots are fantastic — clean detail, good dynamic range, pleasing natural tones.
- Portrait mode does well with background separation most of the time.
- Macro/close-up shots have good details.

But I do see the colour shift between 2× and 3× zoom, the tones look different when I switch zoom levels. That’s something I definitely noticed.Hopefully, Nothing fixes this in future updates.

In low light, the rear cameras are decent, but not perfect. The front camera especially struggles in very dim lighting.
🔹 Battery & Heating
Battery life has been good overall. With regular use, it lasts a full day easily. But during camera-heavy sessions or intense multitasking, the battery drains faster and the phone gets noticeably warm.
Charging speed is decent, but it’s not the fastest — it takes around 1 hour to fully charged. It also gets a little warm while charging — not extreme, but definitely there.
🔹 Software & Experience
Nothing OS is still one of the cleanest Android skins I’ve used:
* No bloatware, minimal and intentional design choices.
* Haptic feedback is solid — taps and interactions feel premium.
* I haven’t faced random crashes or lag in these 28 days.
🔹 About the Review Programme
I want to shout out the Review Program. I think it’s a smart move by Nothing. Letting users test, share feedback, and actually be part of the process. it feels good that our opinions are heard.
💰 Price & Value
* Launch price was ₹80,000, which felt steep.
* With the current price drop, it feels much more balanced for what it offers: premium design, clean software, decent performance, and a solid camera system.
✅ My Final Verdict
After 28 days, the Nothing Phone (3) has been a refreshing companion for me.
✔ Unique and stylish design
✔ Smooth performance + clean UI
✔ Strong camera capabilities in good light
⚠ Areas to watch: zoom colour consistency, heating under heavy use, and charging speed, Battery drain during long camera or multitasking sessions, Cannot switch lenses at 4K 60fps Software features are limited — not as many options as other phones
This phone is not about copying trends — it sets its own path. And for me, that’s what makes it special 🌻
