Daniel Oh, so because a problem was mentioned in some reviews before I bought the phone, that means I’m supposed to accept it forever and lose the right to complain? 😂
That’s an incredibly convenient argument for a company — “We already told you there might be problems, so now it’s your fault.”
Let’s get one thing straight: a review is not a waiver of my consumer rights. I can research a product, buy it anyway, and still expect the manufacturer to fix genuine problems through software updates, hardware support or proper customer service.
And your argument completely misses the point. I’m not complaining that the phone has any imperfections. I’m talking about issues that users have repeatedly reported and that should be investigated and addressed properly.
If your logic is:
“You knew there were problems, so shut up and accept them,”
then why should anyone report bugs at all? Why should Nothing improve anything? Why should the company even have a support team or community?
And please don’t confuse “I knew Nothing was a smaller company” with “I agreed to accept a lower standard of service.”
I bought a product. I paid real money. Nothing took that money as a business transaction — not as charity, and certainly not as a favour to me.
If Nothing doesn’t have enough resources to properly support a product, that is a business problem for Nothing to solve, not a burden to dump on customers.
Also, saying “it was already mentioned in reviews” is not a defence of the product. It’s basically admitting the problems were known and still weren’t properly resolved.
So no, it’s not “on me” for expecting the company to stand behind what it sells.
Customers complaining about genuine problems aren’t the enemy of Nothing. Customers blindly defending every problem are actually making it easier for Nothing to ignore them.
If you really want Nothing to succeed, stop defending the problems and start demanding that they fix them.
