I have issues with undesired volume changes during the first seconds of playing music/sound:
Symptom 1: The following applies to playing music in Doubletwist, but I think the issue is with Nothing 3, as Doubletwist doesn’t have any such problem on my old Nothing 2 or any other android phone in the house:
When I connect to external speakers via the USB 3 cable, the phone works TOO hard to normalize the sound. The start of each song goes extremely loud. Within 5-10 seconds, the volume drops back to normal … and during the song, the volume even gets clearly lower than normal. This cannot be explained by any touching/contact with the phone. I don’t notice the same issue when playing music on the phone’s internal speakers.
Symptom 2: When I use my bluetooth earbuds connected to Duolingo: When sentences are read out, the first part of the sentence is heard with a low volume. Within 1-2 seconds, the volume automatically increases and remains high to the end of the sentence. The volume setting on the phone is unchanged. If I play the same sentence again immediately, it is played with a higher volume from the start. If I play the same sentence after a period of no sound, it is played with the lower volume for the first 1-2 seconds.
