First Impressions: Design That Turns Heads (Ye kaun hai jisne pooh ko mudke nahi dekha , feels real here)
Unboxing the Nothing Phone (3) felt special. The brand’s transparent design and the new Monochrome Glyph Matrix (489 LEDs) immediately stood is turu lob ❤
Box Content
- Phone 3 Handset
- Usb C-C Cable
- Transparent Case
- Transparent Sim Ejector Tools
- User Manual

What’s new?
- Monochrome Glyph Matrix which is very interactive (in recent update it was not working properly)
- Red Recording Indicator-lights up when recording audio / video (which can be turned off)
- Aluminium frame with Gorilla Glass Victus on the back and Gorilla Glass 7i in front feels very premium.

Display: Vibrant, Smooth and eye-friendly
- 6.67-inch OLED, 1260×2800 px
- 120Hz adaptive refresh rate
- HDR10+, 960Hz PWM dimming
—
Performance: Smooth
- Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 (4nm)
Every day performance, I felt it is excellent in case of multitasking, editing, social media, and light gaming, all run flawlessly. But I felt heating issues when clicking continuous photos, recording in 4K,heavy gaming and a few times app crashes (Feedback Reported, hopefully the team will improve it).

Software: Nothing OS 3.5 Clean & Satisfying (I didn’t update to 4.0)
I must say, Nothing OS 3.5 is one of the cleanest Android experiences I’ve used after ONEUI. No bloatware, smooth animations, satisfying haptic feedback. ❤️
New Features:
- Essential Space: Quick access to notes, reminders, screenshots, and voice memos
- Essential Button: Shortcut to essential actions
- Monochrome Mode: Focused, distraction-free interface
Camera: loved it, but it can be made better.
All cameras across the device are of 50MP (front, main rear, telephoto, ultrawide), and all can record up to 4K 60fps.
Pros:
Daylight shots are sharp and detailed
Telephoto lens with macro support ❤️
Video: 4K 60fps, good stabilisation
Cons:
Low light: Slight noise and colour inconsistency
can’t switch between lenses while recording video
There is no option other than 16:9 video recording.
Dual recording is not available.
Switching Between Filters takes time, and no real-time view for filters
No portrait video mode

So I used it over the past month, as I’m a mobile photographer, so I tried to capture different genres of photography, editing, and social media scrolling.
What I Loved❤️
smooth performance
Premium haptics
Clean, distraction-free OS
Good battery life
Minimal and unique design and Glyph Matrix
⚠️ What Could Be Better
Occasional heating
No charger in box
Overpriced (But During BBD it was steal deal)
Pricing: At Rs.80K pricing, it’s hard to recommend.
Overall : 7.5 / 10
The Nothing Phone 3 is minimal, futuristic, powerfull and playfull.
It feels like a phone designed to stand out in both design and function.
If you want:
- A phone with personality and minimalism
- A clean, smooth user experience
- Solid battery and long-term support
Then this is a great pick, but not at 80K Price, wait for some festive season, you can get a good deal there.
Would you pick it over other flagships? If yes, what did you like?
