Hallo, ich habe eine Frage. Im Moment spare ich für ein Handy. Die Hauptoption ist Nothing 3, aber ich habe gelesen, dass es sich aufgrund des Prozessors und des Preises nicht lohnt. Also habe ich das Nothing 3a Pro gesehen und sie sagen, es sei gut, aber es überzeugt mich nicht. Worauf ich mehr achte, ist das Design, ein wenig die Kameras und dass es gut läuft. Im Allgemeinen bin ich nicht der Typ, der Spiele mit hoher Grafikqualität spielt, daher kommen die Fotos gut heraus und so weiter. Ich weiß, dass es einen Preisunterschied zwischen den beiden gibt, aber es macht mir nichts aus, länger zu brauchen, um mehr Geld zu sammeln. Wenn Sie mir also Ihre Meinung sagen könnten, wäre ich Ihnen sehr dankbar, ich habe sie gelesen.

Hello, I have a question. Right now I’m saving up for a cell phone. The main option is the Nothing 3, but I’ve read that they say it’s not worth it because of the processor and its price. So I saw the nothing 3a pro and they say it’s good but it doesn’t convince me. What I pay more attention to is the design, the cameras a little, and that it runs well. In general, I’m not one to play games in high graphics and so the photos come out well and so on, I know there is a difference between the price of the two but I don’t mind taking longer to collect more money so if you could give me your opinion I would really appreciate it, I read them.

I’ve had the NP3 since it came out and honestly I’ve never had as much fun as it has been owning this phone. All the controversy and hate over the phone is so forced.

I have a long history of using pro iPhones, I then switched to android when the pixel 9 pro released. I had that phone for about a year and then switched to nothing.

Performance wise, this phone has not given me any issues despite not having the fancy new chips the other android flagships have. While yes, you can argue that they have better specs than nothing offers for the same price point, it’s just not necessary.

Camera wise, I will admit that my pixel and iPhones were a bit more consistent than the NP3. Not saying the NP3 has bad cameras because I have taken some nice shots with the phone. You may have to tweak the settings a bit but I’ve found that I can just always edit my pictures if it bothers me that bad.

You buy nothing for the design, not the best specs. Like you, design is a big factor in my purchase decisions. I have always enjoyed the look of nothing’s style and the NP3 is the best they’ve come out with in my opinion. It’s not for everyone of course, but that’s why there are so many options to choose from. I personally like the asymmetrical design and I’ve been enjoying the glyph matrix. My coworkers instantly asked me what phone I had when I had first got it bc of how it looks. It’s definitely a head turner, I think it’s worth it.

If price/money is not an issue and you dig the design of Nothing phone(3) then there are no reasons left to not buy Phone(3).

You get better camera, better display and features, longer support, flagship build, glyph matrix, much better processor, etc.

If it’s just between phone3(a) and phone(3) then phone(3) it is.

The Phone (3) is very fast and responsive, the critics regarding the SoC are mostly from techheads who wanted to have the very fastest chip inside the NP3. The used Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 is more comparable to the previous generations 8 Gen 3 than the current 8 Elite flagship. Which doesn’t make this a phone slow or poorly performing, it also still runs circles around the (3a) phones.

IMHO if you enjoy the design of the Nothing Phone (3), there really is no reason not getting it. I am using it since release and can’t be happier with it:

Build quality is absolutely top notch
Full IP68 protection
Camera is good, surprisingly good even. My only remaining complain are so e AF issues happening sometimes
The phone is fast and responsive
Battery life is good, yet not outstanding. A 90% charge easily gets me through even the busiest day
Display is great and does perform good under direct sunlight
eSIM support
Fingerprint sensor is fast, responsive and very reliable
Speakers are very good, another thing which actually surprised me
It has an excellent update policy, with five major updates and seven years of security updates. So if you plan on using this phone for multiple years, the update situation is fully covered

I mostly buy high-end phones, and I haven’t had this much fun in a long time.

To be clear, my phone before the Phone 3 was the S24 Ultra, and I wouldn’t go back.

I had the NP 2, I sold it for a Pixel 9 Pro and due to my work I had an Galaxy S25+ after my Pixel.

All of these Phones were great in their own way but the Phone (2) was just really special. It gave me such a great feeling that I decided to buy Phone (3) when it is released. Now I am using my Phone (3) since July and I felt no regrets since then.

The software is beautiful and minimalistic. That is something I do not like in ONE UI and even Pixel software looks like it is designed for children with its silly shapes. It feels incredibly smooth without any doubts, but the overall feeling is not even close to a Nothing Phone.

For taking professional photos I use my Sony Alpha and for these “everyday-shots” the Nothing Phone 3 is more then enough. The processor feels underchallenged in most conditions and due to latest updates it does not even heat up anymore. So it performs very well. The built quality is fine so far and the speakers are very solid too. Wireless charging, WiFi7, eSIM, and so on - there are many technical specs that contribute to that premium feeling but from a users perspective it is the combination of smooth software, effortless navigation through the syste, solid cameras and a unique hardware which makes this Phone stand out from the rest.

Even the esential space, which I assumed to be a gimmick at first, turned out to be a gamechanger for daily tasks, you just have to user it and integrate it in your daily life.

So all in all I would recommend it, even though the specs are not top notch.

And to all people who accuse me of being paid by Nothing or being a partner: I am just a random person from Germany with an exceptionally good taste in tech ; I am completely voluntary and unpaid 😃

Hey Brother,

Phone 3a runs very smooth and the pictures come out really well. Although the Image processing isn’t the greatest. But you can shoot in RAW and edit the Pictures yourself.

I previously always owned high end phones and the Phone 3a comes very close to the high end feel while doing daily tasks.

I am very happy with the overall feel of the phone.

The software is great. The screen is superb, especially for the price and the cameras are good as well.

I was thinking Pixel 9 or Phone 3a. I went with the Phone 3a and I am very happy with it.

I’m completely happy with the phone 3 at the moment. It’s absolutely fast, instantaneous for everything in every day use. It’s the best experience i ever had. Dont listen to people who never use the phone and complain for everything. This phone is absolutely beautiful, matrix is a piece of art and quality is great.
