Startet Nothing ein Telefon (3a Lite)? Einige Leute sagen, dass Nothing die Einführung eines neuen Modells namens Phone 3a Lite plant. Ist daran etwas Wahres dran? Hat jemand mehr Details gehört oder verlässliche Informationen darüber gesehen?

RapidZapper you are correct. I was verifying that information in the meantime. I tried to login to the BT SIG and didn’t have a password and counter-verified and this was the result … a hallucination. I have learned that I need to counter-verify before posting:

certain data-parsing with AI is useful, but with chatGPT5 plus, I really need to counter-verify, as is the case here. My prompt-engineering will account for that in the future, as this case again shows that it is necessary.

Regardless - A little common sense here would have prevailed. You have Nothing’s top dog, the Nothing Phone 3. Then you have the mids - the 3(a) and 3(a) Pro. Last but not least, The budget-friendly CMF Phone 2 Pro.

What would “lite” consist of? One camera? A MediaTek chipset with 8 GB RAM?

Not being rude, insensitive, or condescending to the OP, but in what reality does this “article” even make sense?

I’ve only heard of 4a, but not 3a Lite definitely… we don’t need as much 3’s at all, for what? Like I guess why does brand need too many phones with so different price range🤔 there’s already the budget and sub-flagship (as (3a) Pro could be maybe), that’s pretty enough. For more budget variants there’s a CMF…

Like this will only confuse people as Samsung did few years ago. Almost identical A50 & A70 line that has just a fewer changes so no one can recognise the difference. Same with A51/A71 and next ones… just no sense…

Shahulnazzer I don’t doubt it, but I think it’s too soon. Since CMF split off from Nothing, they might want to make their own budget offerings instead. It’ll probably have something like one less camera and plastic back, alongside other changes. Could be pretty cool but it really just depends on how different it is from CMF Phone 2 Pro, I feel like most people would probably still pick that

Hey, so I was poking around online, trying to avoid all the official stuff, and I stumbled upon some leaks about a new phone in the 3a series called the “3a lite”! It sounds like a more budget-friendly version of the regular 3a, with some minor tweaks here and there to the design, specs, and software. Honestly, it sounds like it’d be a pretty sweet companion to the CMF 2 Pro.

Since CMF is now its own thing and operating from my homeland, it makes sense they’d want to reach out to the local crowd with some options that don’t break the bank, right? A little something extra for us!
