Data consumption in whatsapp

Hat hier jemand das Problem mit Nothing Phone 2a? WhatsApp verbraucht in wenigen Minuten viele mobile Daten. Wenn ich WhatsApp öffne, wird das Internet schnell entleert, aber nicht in anderen Apps. Ist das ein Betriebssystemfehler oder so?

Is anyone here have the issue in nothing phone 2a, whatsapp consume lot of mobile data in minutes when i open the WhatsApp the internet is drain speedly but not in other apps is thats an os bug or anything

Sarath_S That is a Meta problem. Meta apps like Facebook, Messenger, Instagram, Threads, and WhatsApp, are battery and cellular data hogs - they do not optimize their software simply because they are too lazy to for all variants of Android OS.

The same thing happened to Apple with iPhone 16 last year and it took Apple going to Facebook and telling them fix their software or get out of the app store.

Anonymous962 i also face this quite a lot especially with instagram its always on top in my battery usage as background processes but disabling it from the background is quite frustrating cause if you are texting someone at it and go to do something else for a second it closes the app and it opens again which even takes more battery they really need to fix their apps

How do you think Meta makes truckloads of money everyday? They’re taking your data and everything you do and selling it to the highest bidder. It doesn’t even matter if you put them into deep sleep on the device. Their “feelers” are still collecting information about you and what you’re doing.

I do not work for Meta. I discourage the use of ANY social media platform. Nothing is not responsible for Meta’s apps.

If you want to talk to Meta about their products and why they do what they do with them…

Good luck finding some way to directly communicate with them.
Good luck in finding anyone in Meta that actually cares about people.
