So i have this issue where whenever i have the YouTube miniplayer running and touch the screen, it flickers. Even when pressing the volume key.

I already sent a feedback with the screen capture, but here it is for You guys to see.

Let me know if You also have this problem.

JochieSantiago Go to settings, System > Developer Options

Scroll down until you find “Force peak refresh rate” and turn it on.

When using the YT mini player on Nothing OS 4.0 beta the refresh rate bounces around causing issues with scrolling, response times and more. Using the above option forces it to run at 120hz permanently which fixes this, but does use more battery as a result.

Anonymous994 the thing is, with 4 beta, any changes in developer settings are not permanent. In My case, they revert back after a few minutes, but it does fix it

JochieSantiago I’ve read that, but I’m not having that same issue with the Developer Settings.

I have the animation speeds set to 0.5x as well as the force refresh rate and they stay set, even after rebooting. I don’t know what causes the issue with developer settings. Maybe it’s because I had them enabled before I updated to 4.0?

Anonymous994 so the refresh rate settings stays on, but the animations settings don’t.

JochieSantiago They all stick for me, I just rebooted my phone and checked. I don’t know why the settings stick for some users but not others.

I hope it’s addressed in the next update for those affected!

Anonymous994 i hope so. Even the accessibility settings for animations don’t stay changed.

And no new info on when the next beta 4 update is coming. Ive sent countless feedback to the Nothing devs about some issues. I know they are pretty busy with stuff and all the feedback they are getting.

Home screen which you using is default theme from OS 4 ?
