Hi. Due to an update of the essential space from yesterday major things doe not work anymore. I neither can’t record my own voice nor the voice of my phone partner. Also I realised that I am not able to set appointments in my Google calender with the essential button.
Here in Germany I did not notice any law changes neither in German parliament nor in the EU.
Those two functions were the main reasons why I bought this phone . I am very bad to keep things in mind all these mind supporting functions I can’t use anymore.
Before I bought the 3a I waver between the 3a and the Samsung a 56. And because of these usability tools I switched to nothing.
What has been left from the ai to me is the ability to transform speech to text. A function that other apps could do as well . And the possibility to extract text from a picture.
Both functions are ok but other apps can do that as well.
In the and I bought plaud note Ai In the hope that I can take my notes and recordings with it.
With these extra costs I’d switch to Samsung a56 . A phone with beautiful color options also long updates . And the only thing that would not be there is the glyph interface. A function I rarely use
It is a good phone in general. Very stable and I like the UI . But I think if this will be broken in some years I could imagine to switch to another brand .
First I liked also the communication of nothing. But this update came out of the blue to me. It would have been more honest to say “we could have been legal problems in the EU to deliver the functions” than I would consider this before buying this phone and maybe I’d bought it because of nothings honesty and clear communication.
Never less no general hate about the 3a but disappointment 😔
