Hey Nothing fam!
I’ve been living with the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro on the Nothing OS 4.0 beta for a month now, so here’s my honest feedback – what’s working, what needs fixing, and what I’d love to see next.
What I’m Loving:
Dark mode is better than ever for late nights, and the revamped icons make everything look super minimal and crisp.
Big shoutout for the new AI Usage Dashboard; finally, I can see exactly what’s going on in the background.
In day-to-day use, everything feels a lot snappier, and multitasking with pop-up windows has quickly become a habit
Drawbacks & Bugs:
Glyph lights are acting up! Sometimes they just stay on after a notification and nothing but a reboot fixes it. Really hoping this is sorted in the stable update.
Battery drain and device heating feel worse since the beta. Seems linked to system processes running wild in the background.
Still seeing glitches like weird overlay menus or buggy tiles. The gallery app also stutters at times.
What Would Make It Even Better:
More control for Glyph lights—think scheduling or assigning different patterns for specific notifications.The camera is good, but adding a “pro” mode and fixing some autofocus hiccups could make it a lot better.
Better battery management and smoother animations would really take polish up a notch.
Please beef up customization—icon packs, theme tweaks, and more options for widgets.

Fix the stuck-on Glyph bug once for all.Let us create or assign custom Glyph patterns for our fav apps and contacts.Integrate Glyph lights with more third-party apps.
