sean (1) yeah, it’s like three buttons in a systems menu and it’s disabled.
As stated above, it was broken for a while in the initial NOS 4.0 releases and lock screen glipse was sending data even when off. This is against UK regulatory law but it was fixed almost immediately, to my understanding.
On my CMF1, with the NOS 4.0 rollout, when lock screen glipse is disabled no data is sent (I have confirmed this on my device. The same is true of AppServices). Also, it is not being attempted to be restarted from my log file.
Thus, currently in both cases, on any phone where it is present, disabling in System is what you need to do to prevent battery drain and have proper information governance.
