Oh wow, I was honestly triggered when I saw the new Lock Glimpse feature even if it’s just for the beta preview. This really made me go, “So Nothing OS is becoming… something? Something filled with bloatware and distractions, just like every other brand” It feels like the brand is starting to take the user experience of its budget phones for granted.
This goes completely against what Carl Pei said, that a phone should help users stay productive and maintain a clean, distraction-free experience.
As a former Xiaomi user, I left that brand because of all the bloatware and unnecessary junk they pushed onto their phones. I trusted Nothing to be different, but oh, this is really disappointing. The new feature feels just like the Glance ads on Xiaomi devices something I thought I’d left behind for good. It honestly ruins the simple and smooth experience we were promised.
Please, remove it and stay true to your promise of a productive, distraction-free phone experience the very reason many of us chose Nothing in the first place.
