I was very excited to hear from Nothing about the Phone 1 and I really loved Nothing OS for it’s fluidity and minimal look. I bought phone 2 with the hope that the OS would be worth it but you guys proved me all wrong.
Since the Phone(2a) launch, I feel the company started mass producing to capture Entry-Mid-Premium markets and in that process the company lost its software polishing and just increasing revenue. I feel from business perspectives it’s okay but I feel this move of generating profits simply killed the creativity and thirst for uniqueness that were promised originally. The community part itself is a gimmick, In the end it’s all about the company’s decision.
Finally, I saw beta of NOS 4.0 today and honestly guys at Nothing please read this It’s really Nothing. You made OS feel cheaper by adding Lock glimpse and your partner apps. Ohh, and they decided to skip essential space for Non-essential key phones, now how are you guys going to justify your move in Nothing OS 4 which is majorly consisting of AI utilities? Pure shame. Also, what’s the point of AI usage, what would an average person make out of it? How is it useful? Suppose I am a student and I asked for solutions of my questions on Chatgpt now what’s the use of AI usage here? Explain
My friends used to say that Nothing is all about Gimmicks but I didnt believe them because I believed in the company but it’s time. To Carl Pei, you’re a good salesman and not a visionary. All this time I fell for Nothing.
