the 3a cameras are pretty solid and the CMF1 got much better after release.

need to see the compromises with pre-installed software.

Lio Yeah exactly. And also, Lock Glimpse isn’t just to show third-party ads, Nothing’s said we can also add our personal photos for lockscreen and it’ll display it randomly personalising our lockscreen. If we can turn off the ads option I don’t get what’s that big of problem.

I wonder if CMF will get its own OS, that could explain why nothing is not bothering with beta for CMF.

I just watched the video, which I missed before.

I honestly hope that the GL is gone, there is no GM, and just that a set of single LED dots on the back of the phone that flash in different patterns for different notification classes with no colour change.

I could get behind that as NOTHING-based minimalism and a complete reduction of the GL to a set of single dot.

I have not seen evidence that data will NOT be sent to third parties when that option is off. Sure, you might not see the adverts, but it doesn’t mean that your data isn’t sold.

Google is a fair tradeoff as their email and apps made with your data are legitimately seful.

This company much less so.

SuperFrank not really, they’re still getting the software support. The Phone 1 only stopped getting software updates this year and I believe it still has security patches.
