Hello Fam! This is El Profesor & this is my honest review about the Nothing Phone 3.

Spending One full month with the Nothing Phone 3 has been an interesting ride—not just because of its looks, but because of how it fits into real everyday use as a creator. I’m not here to repeat specs you already know. This is purely my real experience after testing it in photography, video, and daily tasks.
Clean OS – Simple, Smooth, No Drama
One thing Nothing absolutely nailed is the software experience. Nothing OS is clean, minimal, and beautifully optimized. No bloatware, no random ads inside apps, no weird UI decisions—just smooth Android the way it should be. App switching is fast, transitions feel natural, and I experienced zero lag throughout my usage. It honestly feels lighter and cleaner than many big brands.

Design – Still One of the Best in the Game
Let’s be honest: the design is a major part of why people buy this phone. The transparent back, clean edges, and flat aesthetic give it a unique identity in a world where most phones look the same. The build feels solid and premium. It’s a device you actually enjoy holding—very modern, very intentional.

Glyph Interface – Cool, But Functional Too
Before using it, I thought the Glyph matrix lights were just a gimmick, but after one month, I actually found uses:
Charging progress indicator ✅
Timer notification ✅
Custom contact ringtones ✅
Silent alerts when filming ✅
Fun mini games : Spin the bottle ✅

For me, It genuinely helped me keep my phone on silent while still staying aware of important calls. It’s a small thing—but it changes how you use a phone.
Camera – Real-World Test
🪰 Macro & Zoom Performance – 3x and 6x Test
One area that really surprised me was the macro capability using 3x and 6x zoom. I captured close-up shots of flies, and the detail was insane—individual hairs, eye texture, and body segments were visible clearly. The sharpness at 6x is still usable, which isn’t common at this price point.
However, there’s a catch: when shooting subjects in motion, I noticed there is a slight shutter delay/stutter, making it harder to freeze fast movement. So it performs best with still subjects or controlled hands.
Below are the images captured using the 3x & 6x macro lens.

My Verdict: Impressive zoom macro for creative photography, but motion capture needs improvement.
Camera – Real-World Test
Below are real-world test notes using images I captured with both phones: I tested the Nothing Phone 3 camera side by side with the OPPO Find N3 since I also shoot content with it. Here’s my honest breakdown:
🔭 Zoom & Dynamic Range – Sky Test
Sample Observation: In the sky comparison shot, the Nothing Phone 3 produced deeper blues but lost some cloud detail, while the Find N3 maintained a more balanced exposure with softer sky gradients. I did a sky detail comparison using the same framing.
Below are the pictures

My verdict: Nothing Phone 3: Better contrast, good sky texture, but sometimes loses highlight details.
OPPO Find N3: More natural color reproduction and slightly better dynamic range.
Moon 🌙 Zoom Test - 55x Comparison
I also pushed both phones to their limits with a moon zoom test at 55x. On the Nothing Phone 3, the AI Super Zoom feature kicked in, but the result was very noisy with artificial texture and visible digital sharpening. The image looked over-processed and lacked true detail.
Meanwhile, the OPPO Find N3, which doesn’t even use AI Super Resolution produced a cleaner, more natural image with real surface texture and better light control.
Below are the images 🇦

My Verdict: AI processing on the Nothing Phone 3 still needs tuning—especially for extreme zoom shots. OPPO Find N3 handled it better with more realistic detail.
📸 Portrait & Detail
I was impressed with the Nothing phone 3 Pictures under controlled lighting & it handled it perfectly well & I will show you some few unedited samples of the images I took.

What do you guys think between the pictures from Nothing & Oppo Find N3?
🎥 Video Test – Skin Tone Issue
Sample Observation: In a studio setup with soft lighting, the Nothing Phone 3 introduced a noticeable green tint on fair skin, especially around jawlines and cheeks, while the Find N3 reproduced a more natural tone closer to real life. Under controlled lighting, I noticed Nothing Phone 3 adds a green tint to lighter skin tones in video mode. Meanwhile, OPPO Find N3 with Hasselblad tuning keeps skin tones more accurate and cinematic.
This is something Nothing can fix with software tuning, but as of now, colour accuracy in video needs improvement in low light scenarios but for daylight scenario, the colours are vibrant.
Below are the samples:
**Final Thoughts**
After 1 month of real use, I can say: ✅ I love the clean OS ✅ The design is unmatched ✅ Glyph is NOT a gimmick—it’s actually useful ✅ Camera is good but still needs tuning for video skin tones under low light condition on fair skin ✅ Great for creators who love minimalist tech.
Would I recommend it? Yes—if you value design + clean software + creative features & great macro lens camera.
Conclusion: Thank you Nothing for the opportunity to review this device @Deepanshu_Saini_ .
