JustinRevell Hey Hustin, unfortunately that's not possible and so far Nothing has neglected any outlook on letting the users change the action for the essential key or even letting them disable it completely. I can only suggest to submit your feedback through the official way:
- Go to Settings -> System -> Feedback -> tap on that Feedback icon on the lower right and fill out the form.
That way it's fully filed within Nothing's customer support and the more people complain about this, maybe the higher of a chance there is they might rethink their position on that matter.
There is another ghetto-style kind of way however: Get a thicker case with a covered button for the essential key, then simply use a cutter tool to cut out that cover - the sides of the case should no be rised above the actual button and it should be a lot harder to accidently press it. (English isn't my native language, so I hope it makes sense)
