Dear NOTHING
I would like to request an enhancement to the Quick Settings feature on the lock screen.
Currently, if the option “Swipe down on the lock screen to view quick settings” is enabled, all quick settings can be accessed and modified without unlocking the phone. If the option is disabled, even essential emergency settings like the torch are not accessible, which reduces convenience.
Proposed Solution:
Please add an option that allows:
Viewing all quick setting tiles from the lock screen.
Requiring the user to unlock the phone to turn ON or OFF any settings (except emergency options like the torch).
This will allow users to check the status of quick settings (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, airplane mode) while maintaining device security.
Reason for Request:
If someone steals or takes my phone without permission, they can currently enable airplane mode, mobile data, or hotspot from the lock screen without any restriction. This poses a serious security risk. The proposed feature would prevent unauthorized changes while still offering quick access to emergency features.
Thank you for considering this suggestion. I believe this feature would greatly improve both security and usability for all users.
Kind regards,
