Looks like the team is so busy making three minor changes for a huge milestone — Nothing OS 4 (aka the biggest disappointment of the year) — that they’ve lost the sense of the words they’re telling the community.
They named the product “Essential” and even added a dedicated physical key for it, pitching it as a “second memory” — something you’re supposed to use so often it deserves its own button. Yet there’s no way to quickly find anything there.
Wouldn’t a search feature be Essential for such a product? Well, make your own conclusions. Sorry if that sounds harsh.
