ajshamim2004 That really sucks.. dropping a new phone hurts, especially when it’s something you worked hard to buy. Unfortunately, though, this kind of dent can happen with pretty much any phone, whether it’s aluminum or plastic. A bad fall at the wrong angle will almost always leave a mark, and honestly you’re a bit lucky the screen didn’t take the hit… that’s usually the first thing to go.
I had a similar experience with my Nord 5. One drop gave it a nasty corner dent that actually pushed into the screen and cracked it. Thankfully I had accidental damage protection, so I managed to get it fixed without paying the full cost.
Going forward, I’d really recommend using a good-quality case. Even a slim one can make a huge difference in preventing this kind of damage. Hopefully you can still get it repaired or at least keep using it without issues.
