This is likely the case in other apps using the camera.

This is SIGNIFICANTLY better camera output in app usage. This is significantly better than 4.0 beta and NOS 3.5. I would usually use the camera app and then forward from Gallery but this won’t be necessary any longer.

CMF1_hacker Hey man, on stock camera app do you have any stabilization issue on portrait 3x, Is it as stable as in normal mode 3x?. Just checking cause on 3a beta portrait mode 3x stabilization doesn’t work properly

One of biggest gripes before with the NP3 on 3.5/4.0 beta was that the in-app camera quality was lower than the standard camera app.

We probably send about 10-20 photos/day to family abroad and it makes my life easier now that I can use the in app camera option and not lose detail.

Should have been mentioned in the announcement post, I was also using the camera app and forwarding but directly in app is so much easier and lot of people would appreciate it. Will try it when 4.0 arrives on the 3a

code913 I’m shocked at the difference and the was also a complaint that Apple’s cameras were optimised for IG/SC. This is super improved from 3.5/beta. The complainers on the 3a will be quite satisfied.
