On my Nothing Phone running Nothing OS 4.0 (Android 16), I used to consistently see a carrier/network notification on the status bar whenever the phone restarted. This notification stayed visible even after the phone had fully booted and connected to the network.
Since updating to OS 4.0, this notification has completely stopped appearing. The phone still connects fine to the SIM and network, but the persistent status bar hint is gone.
Has anyone else on Nothing OS 4.0 noticed this change? Is it due to a system update, a Carrier Services app update, or something carrier‑specific?
I’d like to confirm if this is a universal change across Nothing OS 4.0 devices or just my setup.
