Charging protocol situation is messed up again with NOS 4.
PD chargers are not providing more than 10 watts.
Previously on OS 2.5, they used to provide that power, but when they introduced OS 3 it went down to 10 watts. Then, after 4 months, the team pushed an update that solved this problem, but as soon as they introduced OS 4.0, it’s messed up again.
The issue is especially with the PD protocol
(Apple chargers and PD-compatible power banks).
It’s fine with Samsung PPS though.
Don’t get me wrong.
Also, battery life has improved with OS 4.0 on the Phone 2, and I’m fine with PPS charging.
But when outdoors, power bank charging is now limited to 7 watts.
This can be a huge pain for me.
Also, please don’t mess up the battery life by fixing this charging protocol problem.
