I bought a new nothing phone 3a from Japan, and you know the regulations there, right? All phones sold in Japan cannot have their camera shutter sound turned off!
This is quite annoying for me because I will be using the phone not in Japan, but in another country that doesn’t have privacy regulations as strict as Japan’s.
Is it possible that after I use this phone in long term outside Japan, the setting to disable the camera sound will appear?
I’ve read some articles saying it might happen, but I want to know if anyone here has experienced the same issue.
