Phone vibration doesn't work

Einen Tag nach dem Nothing OS 4-Update auf meinem Nothing Phone 2 habe ich Probleme mit der Vibration. Mein Wecker ist mit Ton und Vibration eingestellt. Nachdem es klingelt, lege ich es ab. Und unmittelbar nachdem ich den Alarm ausgeschaltet habe, vibriert mein Telefon einige Sekunden lang und danach funktioniert die Vibration meines Telefons nicht mehr für alles (Touch-Haptik, Klingeln usw.). Kennt noch jemand dieses Problem? Und wie kann man es lösen?

After 1 day after the nothing OS 4 update on my nothing phone 2, I am facing issues with vibration. My alarm is set with sound and vibration. After it rings, I dismiss it. And immediately after dismissing the alarm, my phone vibrates for a few seconds and after that vibration on my phone stops working for everything (touch haptics, ringing, etc).

Anyone else facing this issue? And how to solve it?

MananDugar This is an interesting and weird bug. I can’t seem to reproduce it, but based on what you say the vibration motor driver is crashing. It could be that the alarm ending + the dismissal feedback are colliding, causing the driver to hang.

Nonetheless, I could suggest a couple of things:

Clear alarm app cache: (Settings > Apps > Clock > Storage);
Safe mode test to rule out third-party app interference: (Press and hold the power button > Long-press on “Power Off” > A prompt asking “Reboot to safe mode” will appear, tap OK) After you get into Safe Mode try to set an alarm, let it ring and dismiss it. Check if the vibration still breaks. If the vibration works fine, a third-party app is interfering;
Report the bug to Nothing: Contact Nothing support team. Also, from the Developer Options in the Settings, you can turn on the Bug Report feature to record the logs and get the file to share with the support team:
Try to reboot your device.

Yes. Suddenly, the vibration stops working for notifications, alarms… Everything. That’s what you get with such an underdeveloped system. What a shame…

This is happening for me as well. But randomly so don’t know which app is causing it. What’s the correct way to raise this issue?

Realised phone without haptic feedback is so boring. Could even be a feature to discourage extended usage 😅

Settings -> System -> Feedback -> tap that little feedback icon on the lower right and fill out the form

The vibration or Flip to Vibrate on my Phone 2a does work after a quick reset. However, it does feel like the vibration is not as strong as it was compared to OS 3.2. I did miss a few notifications since I couldn’t feel the vibration.
