I understand that they want to keep some things as selling points for the newer models and I understand, that they won’t launch features like essential space on phone 2 or 2a, but essential search is different. It should not take much effort to launch it on older models, since it already existed there a few months ago until they removed it without any comment. Also there is no deep hardware integration of this service so there is no real reason to keep it exclusive to newer models.
