Why does low lag mode turn off after disconnecting/reconnecting?

I’m using the CMF Buds 2 with an iPhone 16, and if I turn on the low lag mode in the Nothing X app, it will only stay on until I disconnect, because every time I reconnect, it will be turned off in the Nothing X app and I have to manually turn it back on. If anyone knows, could you please tell me if this is an intended feature, or a bug in the app? Thanks.

actually this mode uses for games. So…

you don’t always play games with your buds right?

ADSH I don’t play games on my phone no, and I only use these buds with my phone, not with my PC. But I wanted to use this mode for watching YouTube videos and noticed that this setting doesn’t save, all the other settings do but not this one. Could it be due to the fact, like you said, that since it’s mostly for gaming it turns off automatically after disconnecting so you don’t forget it on and it burns through your battery?

ADSH Do you also have Nothing Ear/CMF Buds? If so have you noticed this same thing?

ADSH Alright man, well thanks for your help. And after looking around I saw multiple posts about this but just no answer from the Nothing staff. But it’s probably like you said, a feature and not a bug. Thanks🙂
