Deshalb habe ich mich endgültig entschieden, das Nothing-Experiment endgültig zu verlassen, mit großer Enttäuschung, aber das ist nicht das Thema meines Beitrags. Ich glaube, dass auch (viele) Leute weggehen. Auf welche Marken/Geräte zielen Sie nach der bitteren Erfahrung hier ab? Ich persönlich bin mit dem „Experimentieren“ mit Marken wie Nothing fertig und werde wahrscheinlich auf Pixel oder Galaxy umsteigen.

DimitarGeorgiev I’d go with Samsung. I used Samsung phones from the start and they never disappointed me. But I won’t be leaving Nothing soon.

themountofmint Galaxy store by itself isnt bloat but it has system permissions to automatically install other bloat apps and last I checked it’s very hard to disable it

I moved from OnePlus. With the overwhelming disappointment of this failed experiment, I would just go back to OnePlus

I have 3a Pro and previously owned Pixels and loved their reliable camera, and simple OS, for me it has to be camera and battery performance 1st. No thing’s OS presently suits me and the battery performance is good. The camera has been inconsistent, although the periscope lens is what keeps me satisfied for now. My wife presently uses NP2a and will possibly return to Sony Xperia or something smaller, she has not been too impressed with Nothing, but her next phone must have micro card storage for back up. I like many of you are saddened to see Nothing not stick to the community centric plan and sell out to 3rd party providers. Also they have recently made some schoolboy errors with their new phone models and specs 3a lite and NP3 in particular disastrous and pointless waste of valuable budget IMHO So really Thier only real flagship type achievement has been the 3a Pro for 2025, which is bittersweet, as I own the 3a pro which is great, but sadly they really need far better spec and performance to grow their user base and keep brand loyalty. They still need to sort out essential space to make it actually an essential space and not pointless space, So I will consider returning to Pixel or possibly try IQOO? If I don’t see an improvement. I don’t personally need performance just reliable camera and battery life.

Anonymous1123 A71 and Z Flip5. In Russia, where do I live, I had a notification everytime I was setting up any of these phones like “finish your setup”, and I was like forced to install local apps and games. But I just turned the check boxes and nothing was installed. I didn’t had any installation without my permission. So wasn’t for my parents using A51 and A71.

I liked the aesthetic of Nothing os, that is for sure. However, it’s been a bad experience with the Nothing Phone 2a screen that having serious issue (green tint during low light and at the lock screen if the fingerprint enabled).

Nothing seemed to never take a look regarding the issue (even there’s a lot of people did mentioned it).

I think, might go with iPhone after this (just because of their consistency in giving software support and a very well optimized ecosystem). Note that this is only a subjective opinion, thanks.

Xiaomi/Poco probably, way better hardware at the same price range of 250/300 and their bloatware is at least not hidden through updates, + when i went through the hoops of removing it with ADB the phone didnt try to kill itself leaving me without battery like with Lock Glimpse

MarioStorm Same for me I think, although I’m still waiting for the next update to form an overall opinion on Nothing. On the one hand, I was impressed to get the update to NOS4 very soon after getting the phone, but I’ve faced a few minor issues such as the log tool stopping issue that many (if not all) face, and also some inconsistencies with Bedtime (DND) mode. If those issues vanish after the next update then I’ll stick with it for a while, but if they remain then it’s time to change already.

I’ve had a nothing one phone since they were released. Other than battery age issues I still love my phone. I’m thinking of getting a cmf 1 to replace it but not sure on whether that would be as good. My plan would then be to switch to that and maybe send the original phone off for a new battery. I’ve never had a phone I wanted to keep after 2 years even. I’ve tried my other half Google pixels he’s been through 2 in this time and they don’t tempt me. I haven’t tried Samsung and know people rave about them but hey if I still love my phone and it’s just the charge level that is annoying why change.
