Vishalkumarbilla As the phone supports 4k video playback one YT and other platforms, even I can play 4k 120 fps video shot on my camera to this phone, why not allow playing 4k video on Netflix.. Does anyone have a solution to it??
Womey Vishalkumarbilla If you go into the Netflix app settings, you’ll see that HDR is not supported on Nothing devices. This isn’t something users can fix. Netflix HDR support is based on device certification and partnership approval, not just hardware capability. Until Netflix certifies Nothing phones for HDR playback, Netflix will limit playback to standard quality on all their cellular devices.
Anonymous1123 Cannot confirm this myself, but some people here said that netflix requires some sort of deal, which can include preinstalling their app, in order to give full quality on certain smartphones Another reason to not pay netflix
DannoB Supposedly Netflix normally wants their app to be preinstalled to get HDR certification unless they company is huge like Google or Apple.
