Hallo zusammen! Ich wünsche allen ein frohes Jahr 2026! Nutzen wir dies als Megathread für die Wunschliste für das kommende Jahr. In diesem Thread geht es darum, coole neue Funktionen, Korrekturen und Verbesserungen für das Betriebssystem Nothing vorzuschlagen, wenn wir über Version 4.0 hinausgehen. Das Team von Nothing war äußerst aufgeschlossen und offen für Benutzerfeedback, daher ist dies unsere Chance, unserer Stimme Gehör zu verschaffen. I am using (4a) Pro and the glyph matrix is super fun. However, I’d want more functionality to create notifications. Making one from the photo works, but sometimes I want to change a few pixels to make it perfect. I built a tool to generate them (Toyph Glyph Generator — Nothing Phone 4a Pro) - so if you could support any format of copying a string or scanning a QR for a proper glyph notification - I would update the tool to support it.

I’d like to share a collection of feedback gathered from real users in Nothing Community TH. These suggestions reflect actual day-to-day usage and common pain points among users in Thailand.

1. Localization & Accessibility
- Add more Thai fonts (including styles similar to CMF Watch)

2. Sound & Audio Control
- Allow per-app volume control (independent sound levels for each app)
- Improve volume slider UI (similar to brightness slider in quick settings

3. Productivity & Daily Use
- Enhance clipboard (store more items + pin important ones)
- Allow more flexible home screen customization (e.g. move search bar freely)
- Add a widget for Essential Key to trigger functions without pressing the button

4. Camera & Gallery Improvements
- Continue camera software updates for older devices
- Improve Gallery editing tools:
- Add text to images
- Basic overlay/composition features
- Introduce AI object removal with better accuracy

5. System Apps Optimization
- Improve Weather app accuracy (temperature & real conditions)

6. Glyph Interface Enhancements
- Expand Glyph functionality for real-world use, such as:
- More flexible timer options
- Better integration with apps/notifications

7. Smart Features
- Add AI-powered photo editing (practical, not overly complex)
- Improve spam call/message filtering (automatic blocking system)

Thank you for building such a unique and clean OS experience. These suggestions are based on real user needs and would greatly improve everyday usability.

I’ve been using a third-party app that adds a notification capsule around the front camera, giving quick access to apps like Spotify, SoundCloud, and other background notifications. It’s been really efficient for monitoring and accessing active apps without interrupting what I’m doing.

I was wondering if Nothing could consider adding a native version of this feature in a future update. I think it would improve usability and make background app interactions feel more seamless and intuitive within Nothing OS.

It’ll be great if you guys add manual video controls like:

ISO
Shutter Speed
Stabilozation on/off
FPS (24/30/60)
White Balance lock option

I’ve CMF Phone 2 Pro and I mostly use blackmagic cam to shoot videos cz it have manual controls but sadly I cant use telephoto and wide angle lens there cz its api restricted.

Please bring dynamic lockscreen and additional fix the font color issue in lockscreen, since the font won’t change to black font in white background, please this is a basic feature.

Hello Nothing Team,

I am a student and a user of Nothing Phone. I really like Nothing OS because of its clean and minimal experience, but I want to suggest an important feature for students and people trying to reduce phone addiction.

Please consider adding a strict focus feature similar to OnePlus Zen Mode.

Right now, apps like Digital Wellbeing and Focus Mode are too easy to bypass. Many third-party apps can be disabled quickly by turning off permissions or device admin access. Because of this, it becomes difficult to stay focused during study time.

A built-in Nothing focus mode could:

- Completely lock distracting apps for a selected time

- Prevent exiting early

- Survive phone restarts

- Reduce screen addiction

- Help students focus better during study sessions

This would make Nothing OS more useful for productivity and mental focus, especially for students like me who genuinely want to stay away from distractions for some time.

I think a clean and minimal brand like Nothing is perfect for a feature like this.

Hi Nothing team,

I have a feature suggestion for battery charging.

At night before sleeping, I often use fast charging, but sometimes I want slower charging to protect battery health.

It would be nice to have a feature that automatically asks whether to use fast charging or slow charging when plugging in the phone during certain hours (for example at night).

This could help improve battery lifespan and give users more control.

Hello Nothing team,

I really enjoy using my Nothing Phone (3), but I would like to suggest a few improvements for the Weather app.

Currently, the app only uses AccuWeather as the weather data source, and unfortunately it is not very accurate for my location in Russia. It would be great if users could choose between different weather providers, such as Weather.com, OpenWeather, MeteoBlue, Yandex Weather, or others.

I would also like to request additional atmospheric pressure units. In Russia, atmospheric pressure is commonly measured in mmHg (millimeters of mercury), but the app currently only offers mbar, inHg, and hPa. Please consider adding mmHg as an option in the settings.

Giving users more flexibility with weather sources and measurement units would significantly improve the experience for many international users.

Glyph Interface Enhancement Idea

It would be a great improvement if, in addition to the static clock display on the Glyph interface, users could easily switch between different Glyph patterns without navigating through the settings.

Proposed functionality:

When the phone is placed face down on a surface, users could perform a double tap on the device body.
This gesture would allow them to cycle through available Glyph designs or modes directly.

Benefits:

Faster access to customization without opening settings.
More intuitive and interactive user experience.
Encourages more frequent use of the Glyph interface features.

This small gesture-based improvement would significantly enhance usability and make the Glyph system feel more dynamic and accessible.

Hallo Nothing Community, wie wäre es wenn exklusiv auf Nothing Phones eine App gibt mit der man Bilder und Videos in höheren Qualität und schnell auf ein Nothing Phone senden kann ein bisschen so wie Apple Air-Play Nur eben für Nothing.
