Any chance of Nothing / CMF Watch with Wear OS in near future?

I don’t think you will get an official answer here. There have been talks about an actual Nothing (no CMF) smartwatch a few times, it’s expected to be more premium and could possibly be running Wear OS. However this was just theory crafting.

In short: We don’t know. Could happen, could as well not happen.

I would love to see a Nothing watch that’s more premium than the CMF offerings but I wouldn’t want Wear OS on it. I would like to see Nothing continue to develop their own watch OS which has the unique Nothing style adding wind speed and direction to the weather widget and including synchronisation of the users chosen task/ to do and calendar applications with widgets would be great. I prefer multi day battery life to having to charge the watch every day or every other day which would be the case with Wear OS.

UpawNothing I agree with you Nothing should use its own OS.

OnePlus has done the same, they are using Hybrid OS (their own OS including Google Wear OS) main advantage of their Hybrid OS it lasts for 4 Days and we can download apps from playstore and it can syncronize with Google ecosystem as well.
