It must also require a government document as verification and when user forgets the password he can use those documents to unlock his ID

Also to prevent spam creation it must be allowed only to be created on nothing phones

Google has all these features. Use that, simple. And what’s the benifit of having a device specific ID which serves the same purpose as Google’s services? And for device specific backup that’ll restrict the user to access their data from another device which isn’t a very good idea on Android. It’s not Apple’s iOS. On android people have plenty of optins and locking their data on a specific brand’s server is nothing but waste of money and time for the company.

Take Samsung, OnePlus and Xiaomi for example and they have their own ID thing, but still most users use Google’s services for their convenience so that they can access their data from whatever device they want.

DPDX Bhai your idea is good 💡 but it didn’t necessary like people said here, many brands have this feauture but most of the people uses google services for backup.

DPDX Bhai Using google login is pretty much enough for most things 😉 no need to use ID verification. It’s very intrusive privacy wise also to use ID so I wouldn’t use it myself to be honest.

I think it’s a idea that seems good on paper in my opinion, because I trust nothing alot more than I trust Google… likely handing my data out like its candy at Halloween,(which Google is likely doing right now) but this would be a massive undertaking which I don’t think they would want to commit to. having a system like that would be expensive servers staff facilitys R&D security, and I think nothings direction would have to go into subscriptions to subsidize the cost of such a idea. and the more complicated things get the harder it is to keep track of everything which all round seems like a pretty grand ambition. Of which could be implemented long down the road then something that could be done right now but hey that’s just my view of things I’m open to criticism. If I’m of basis.

Making an in-house recovery system doesn’t work for me. The default android backup and restore is convenient, and you’re not forced to buy the same brand if you want to restore.

The anti theft idea is good, but the “nothing ID” is not necessary, just need an implementation through code and use whatever password you were using.

This is a great idea. Nothing should move away from Google services. Nothing should not depend on Google services, so replacing everything related to Google with its analogues from Nothing would be great, beautiful and stylish. This can give a huge boost to the seamlessness and eco-system of Nothing.
