This is an appeal to the developers who may read this forum. Considering how firmware updates for the Nothing Headphone (1) have been released lately, both in terms of frequency and quality, it would be more important to give users the ability to manually roll back to earlier firmware versions.
As far as I can tell, over the past few months there hasn’t been a single firmware release that didn’t break something. By coincidence, I currently have two identical pairs of headphones on hand: one running firmware version 67 and the other running version 80. The difference is shocking. The headphones on version 80 sound significantly worse compared to those on version 67. At the same time, the person who uses the version 67 headphones daily has no complaints at all: no issues with call quality, ANC, or anything else.
I don’t understand why the developers are degrading the product, or why management approves and ships work of this quality into production. Maybe there are deeper reasons behind this, but it’s hard to justify why this situation has been dragging on for months.
So please, give users the ability to roll back to previous firmware versions.
