I believe CMF1 gets “Universal Search” rather than “Essential Search,” which has most of the same functions.
I have v 1.0.7 of com.nothing.universal.search (I would naively assume it simply removes the Essential Space connections but I haven’t examined both APKs directly and perhaps I might do that when I have some time … but the core bits look similar).
It looks similar and has the same error of displaying icons really incorrectly, which has been there seen essential search was released.
