Ram expansion options greyed out – help

Hallo zusammen, Ich habe nach dem Update, das ich heute installiert habe, ein Problem mit der RAM-Erweiterungsfunktion auf meinem Nothing Telefon (3a). Vor dem Update konnte ich die 8-GB-RAM-Erweiterungsoption problemlos nutzen. Seit dem Update funktioniert/verfügt die 8-GB-Option jedoch nicht mehr und ich kann nur noch die 2-GB- oder 4-GB-Option auswählen. Steht noch jemand vor diesem Problem? Ich hoffe, dass das Team dies untersuchen und im nächsten Patch eine Lösung bereitstellen kann. Hi everyone,

I’m experiencing an issue with the RAM expansion feature on my Nothing Phone (3a) following the update I installed today.

Before the update, I was able to use the 8GB RAM expansion option without any issues. However, since the update, the 8GB option is no longer working/available, and I am restricted to selecting only the 2GB or 4GB options.

Is anyone else facing this problem? I hope the team can look into this and provide a fix in the next patch.

mightymmax The way RAM extension works: It reserves a fixed amount of your phone’s storage memory to practically “extend” the actual RAM of you phone. So if you are running low on storage space, it’s a better option to just disable it completely. Personally I have it always disabled anyways, as the storage memory is a lot slower than the RAM.
