That is some impressively big hands you’ve got there^^ How are you holding such a small device with hands spanning nearly 2 meters? 😛
For me, this is sadly a “nearly everytime I pick up the device” thing, which is why it is so frustrating to me. Double-press would alleviate it a bit (again, customisability would have helped from the start^^), but I do not have this update yet.
Thank you for providing context, was not aware of previous issues. I didn’t consider a path to the ICO, just want it controllable and ideally opt-in, rather than opt-out (and letting the product, if it is good, be adopted by users, rather than having to play catch-up all the time…)
It isn’t quite as clear to the user (this user for exmple) where the processing is happening - I was of the opinion that it is solely locally, but when seeing “AI usage”, it is not made clear where this is sent to or processed. I wouldn’t even mind having it locally, but accidental screenshots taken from banking applications that are sent off elsewhere without my control would be an absolute deal-breaker for me.
Any way I can get to the latest OS where it is mapped to double-press?
I am on Nothing OS 4.0 - Build number: Asteroids-B4.0-251118-1551-EEA

UPDATE 21-JAN: received the update now that lets me toggle the key usage to “activate with Single Tap before use”. Asteroids-B4.0-251229-2335-EEA
This is a great improvement against accidental button presses, which is appreciated.
It would still like to see customisation abilities beyond being forced into ‘Essential’ anything, and being able to select actions for single press, double press, long press, etc. and make it actually useable for me…
The AI usage is now also empty, but in all earnestness, I haven’t had the time to test the system (which is pretty low on my priority these days).
I’d say case closed for now, customer still not happy.
