CMF is exactly the right brand to jump on the keyboard phone hype train.
BUT: the physical keyboard means either you have less screen or way more phone.

Who on earth thought that’s a nice thing to do to yourself?
But is it the only solution to this issue? No, of course no, and the years of less boring phones provide us with tons of options.

OK. What are our cheap options? I’ d say Sony Ericsson W350. Lid keyboard is basically soft plastic with harder buttons inside that press “through”.

With computational power of modern smartphones it’s quite easy to teach the phone, which touches by capacitive lid count for which letters. And it’s a simple plastic lid, so it can be detachable if you get tired of having this thing on your phone. CMF big screw looks like it was made for this.

It’s a very raw sketch, but I think the whole idea is as CMF-y as it can be.
