After the latest OS update, camera stability has slightly improved. However, there is still a lot of work needed in the camera department. The overall image quality is not up to the expected standard, and it feels like the hardware is not being utilized properly.
Focus accuracy is inconsistent, especially face detection, which often fails to lock properly.
Exposure and light control are poor; photos appear too dark in many situations.
Video stabilization is unstable, and overall video quality is below average.
Portrait mode performance is very disappointing — it feels similar to a 15–20k budget phone, with weak edge detection and depth processing.
A dedicated “Vibrant” color mode option is missing, which would improve color output.
Even devices with lower-grade sensors, such as the Oppo Reno 14 Pro, deliver more consistent and better camera performance.
I expected noticeable camera improvements from this update, but unfortunately, the results feel the same — or slightly worse in some scenarios. The hardware seems capable, but OS optimization and the True Engine processing are not delivering the performance they should.
