Updated Observation
The overheating and rapid battery drain also happen while using mobile data. For example, today while using apps like X and YouTube on mobile data, the phone started heating up heavily again and the battery began dropping extremely fast.
What Happens
⢠The phone temperature rises significantly during normal usage
⢠Battery drains extremely fast once the overheating begins
⢠Charging becomes very slow while the phone is hot
⢠The device becomes uncomfortable to hold for long
Additional Information
⢠The issue seems to have started after the February software update
⢠My battery health is still showing 100%
⢠I have already tried the troubleshooting steps suggested by Nothing Support (network reset, disabling Wi-Fi scanning, checking background apps, etc.), but the issue still occurs
Current Status
I have already reported this to Nothing Support, and they have forwarded the information to their technical team for further investigation.
At the moment, I am trying to determine whether this is a software optimization issue introduced in the recent update or possibly a hardware-related problem.
