I saw this story that Nothing posted on their Instagram account that announced the date for the Phone (4a) unveiling earlier today, which seemed to just be a little snippet of the countdown timer sand clock Glyph Matrix toy thing. And at first glance it didn’t seem like anything extraordinary, just a little teaser using the Glyph Matrix because it’s their flagship device and all.
But looking at it now, I’ve realized something odd. For the Phone (3) promotional material (Phone (3) YouTube video in this case), this sand clock countdown timer graphic was used. Remember how it looks.

And this is the teaser they posted today.

That’s right, the “aspect ratio” of the Glyph Matrix is smaller, a 13×13 circular LED matrix as opposed to the Phone (3)'s 25×25 matrix. Which is odd considering that there is no phone currently in the line-up that has this specific Glyph Matrix configuration.
So my hypothesis is basically that the Phone (4a) Pro will have a smaller Glyph Matrix as opposed to the Glyph Bar, which could get announced tomorrow but presumably released at a later date. Anyway, this just piqued my interest and I wanted to let people know about it and draw their own conclusions. What do you guys think, am I reaching? And how would you feel about possibly getting an even smaller Glyph Matrix on the Phone (4a) Pro?
Edit: Well would you look at that…
