I have been using the Phone (4a) for a week and here are my first impression.

- Love the design, especially the pink. The pill shaped camera island and the metallic elements give it an elevated look. The essential key is moved on to the left of the phone and rightly so avoiding mistouches.
-The screen looks sharp and the outdoor visibility is great. The colours are accurate and balanced as well.
-The haptics and the speaker output is strong for the price. The glyph lights are now replaced by the bar making it more subtle yet functional. The red recording indicator is present as well sort of gives it a character.
- The cameras are fairly capable and produce exceptional results especially the primary and the zoom lens. The tetraprism lens does a great job for portrait shots and the primary camera doubles up as a macro shooter but I’m yet to fully explore it. The wide angle camera does a pretty good job in well lit conditions. Will be sharing some of the photos samples here shortly so stay tuned!
- The Nothing OS 4.1 is surprisingly smooth. The animations feel buttery and all the elements look perfectly tied to each other. The Nothing gallery is improved as well. It now includes object removal, some cool watermarks, more editing tools. It also have all the existing essential tools which comes in handy.
The battery life is so far really good and lasts easily 1.5 day with moderate usage. Will mention about the performance and the battery life in the full review after extended usage, so stay tuned for the full detailed review.
- Overall it provides great value for the price it is launched. Certainly doesn’t feel like a midrange device and I believe is a great deal for ₹27999 including the bank offers
