I’m facing a persistent issue with WhatsApp video calls(Specially group) on my Nothing Phone 3 after the Nothing OS 4.0 update released in December, and I’m wondering if others are experiencing the same.
Issue details:
WhatsApp calls disconnect after 3–5 minutes consistently.
During the call, the other person’s voice suddenly becomes muted.
After about 10 seconds, the call completely hangs.
At that point, the call screen becomes unresponsive, and I cannot even end the call.
The only way to recover is to force close WhatsApp and reopen it, then rejoin the call.
This issue did not exist before the Nothing OS 4.0 update, and it has been happening consistently for the past 4 months.
Initially, I assumed it might be a WhatsApp bug, but since it has persisted this long, it seems more likely related to the OS update or system-level changes.
Is anyone else facing this issue on Nothing OS 4.0?
Any workaround or fix that worked for you?
Would appreciate if others could confirm whether they are seeing similar behavior.
