it ranks very well in the standings, the Nothing OS is sensational and well made.

micheledecesare Finally back on OS 3.2 after the service center rollback. That battery drain and heating on the last update was a real mess!

Honestly now that it’s stable again it reminds me why I bought the 3a it’s easily the smoothest mid-ranger when the software actually works. I’m sticking with 3.2 until the bugs are 100% fixed. Anyone else still holding off on updating? Hope Nothing nails the stability for the Phone 4 in 2027. 🫧

micheledecesare Don’t know how the 3a and 4a are.. but I gotta say I couldn’t be more proud of getting the 2a plus in 2025 ( I bought it 2 days before we got any announcement of the 3a)

Besides the HDR screen issues, awesome phone, probably still the best performing nothing A series device (for real, see the specs if you doubt, and daily performance is no doubt the best of the A series).

Cameras are awesome, if you use something like @Himanshu (telegram) ’s XML’s on GCAM.

LONELYWOLF you can use nothing archive to rollback to any version no need of sc you can do it yourself

LONELYWOLF Service centers usually won’t just email you a file. They almost always make you come in so they can flash it themselves, which is a massive waste of time. If you don’t want to deal with their schedule, the only other DIY option is using that community archive Samarth mentioned . but it’s manual and a bit of a process.

@Samarth97 The Archive is a decent workaround but everyone should keep in mind that rolling back completely wipes your data. It’s also pretty easy to soft-brick the phone if you flash the wrong region’s firmware Global vs. India, so definitely double-check the version before trying it

Thanks a lot for answers! I had no intention to rollback my 4.0 OS for now but just in case something is very wrong I want to have an alternative solution. I guess the ARCHIVE of former NOTHING OS-es is here somewhere…maybe you give me the right adress if you please !
